My name is Alma and I am a Software Engineer. I studied bachelors in Computer Science and Mathematics at the UAM in Madrid, Spain. When I finished, I wanted to learn how to better build for users and did a MSc. at Chalmers University in Sweden focusing on user interfaces and mobile development.
I am passionate for technology and love bringing it closer to users and making it easier to use. I believe in mentoring as a great tool for helping others, especially women in Computer Science.
Attending the Grace Hopper Conference and meeting other women in tech from all over changed my life. In 2015 I was awarded the Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship. You can read more about it here.
